Clinical treatment

Peer Support

Peer support provides connection with people who understand military service, recovery, or high-responsibility occupational cultures from lived experience.

What it is

Peer support complements professional clinical care by creating opportunities for shared understanding, practical encouragement, accountability, and hope.

What it may address

It may reduce isolation, strengthen engagement, and help clients reconnect with identity, community, and recovery goals.

What to expect

Peer support does not replace therapy or medical care. It works alongside the clinical team within defined roles and boundaries.

How CCC uses it

CCC incorporates peer support as part of the broader residential recovery environment where appropriate.
