TRAVEL & ADMISSION

How do I get there when I am far away?

When a veteran must travel for residential care, CCC helps coordinate the journey, from departure and arrival to the return home.

Before you travel

Call 1-877-PINKVET before booking. Admissions will confirm your campus, arrival date, the safest way to travel, and any support needed along the journey. We can coordinate records, medications, and care with your referring team where applicable.

Crane Hill, AL 35053

Use only the address Admissions confirms for your admission. We will provide directions and an arrival contact.

Flights, driving & pickup

Admissions will discuss a suitable flight or driving itinerary and confirm where and when to meet. When pickup or accompanied travel is required, we will arrange the details before departure. Please wait for Admissions to confirm travel and pickup arrangements before departure.

What to bring

Admissions will provide a current packing list. Tell us about medications, medical equipment, mobility needs, and any records or identification you have been asked to bring. We will explain how medications should travel with you.

Arrival & admission

A team member will direct you to the correct campus and help you through arrival. The clinical team will review your immediate needs, medications, safety, and treatment plan with you.

Travel costs & VA coordination

We will explain the arrangements and any approvals or funding requirements for your referral before travel. VA reimbursement or special transportation depends on individual eligibility and authorization. We will not ask you to rely on unconfirmed reimbursement.

Going home

Return travel is part of discharge planning. CCC purchases return tickets and arranges accompanied travel where and when required. We coordinate timing, continuity of care, and the practical steps for a safe return to family, your referring team, and community.
