Evidence-Based Treatment
The CCC treatment objective
Understanding how symptoms and life circumstances interact.
Trauma, substance use, depression, moral injury, family strain, sleep disturbance, housing instability, suicidal thinking, and other pressures may reinforce one another. CCC’s clinical task is to identify those interactions, build an individualized solution, measure response, and adjust treatment until the plan is strong enough to hold beyond residential care.
A connected clinical knowledge base
Care that considers the whole person.
CCC’s clinical approach draws these areas together so that one decision is considered in the context of the others. This helps prevent a technically correct answer in one part of the system from creating a new problem somewhere else.
Clinical development
Evidence first. Innovation where it earns its place.
Behavioral healthcare changes. CCC reviews new treatments, assessment tools, and clinical technologies when they may improve care.
Nothing is added simply because it is new. It must be clinically relevant, supported by evidence, safe to deliver, and appropriate for the individual.
For treating professionals
When outpatient care is no longer enough.
One call starts the conversation. We will tell you what is needed next.
1-877-PINKVETCall with the clinical need. We coordinate the handoff.
Give us the urgency, current location, and a safe callback number. CCC coordinates clinical review and admission planning; VA determines authorization.
If risk is rising, call while the Veteran is with you.
Tell us the immediate concern, location, callback number, and relevant clinical or medication needs. We will help coordinate the next clinical step.
Clinical handoff: With the Veteran's consent or other appropriate authority, CCC will explain how to share records securely and coordinate the practical steps into care.
Immediate danger: Call 911 or arrange emergency-department evaluation first. Veterans and service members can also call 988 and press 1.
